Clothes Washing Machine Rebate
El
Paso Water Utilities in an effort to conserve
water, gas, and electricity is offering a rebate
to direct Residential and/or Commercial El Paso
Water Utility customers for water-and energy-efficient
clothes washers. These clothes washers are now
available at most local retailers. There are medium
and full-size machines available.
The Program offers a one-time rebate
of $100 for residential and $100 for commercial
for New water-and energy-efficient washers purchased
and installed by a direct El Paso Water Utilities’
customer. Customers will be served on a first-come,
first-served basis. Rebates are subject to availability
of funds.
Residential and commercial models must be listed as an approved model under this program.
You can select a washer model from the listing found below that applies to your customer classification.
Both residential and commercial listings are divided by tiers structured so the most efficient products are listed in the higher tiers.
For example, Tier 4B would contain the most efficient models. For information regarding a new model that is not listed, please call our Water Conservation Department for model verification before your purchase.

Program Guidelines/Requirements
- Customer must be a direct El Paso Water Utilities
customer at time of purchase.
- Customer must keep the clothes washer, for
which customer received a rebate, installed
at an address within the service area of El
Paso Water Utilities for a period of at least
five years.
- Customer needs to call (915) 594-5508 to schedule
a verification inspection appointment within
90 days from date of purchase of the machine.
If you fail to schedule an appointment within
90 days from purchase, you are not eligible
for the rebate. Customer understands that an
inspection will be conducted and that customer
must provide the original purchase receipt before
customer receives a rebate. Appointments will
be scheduled Monday to Wednesday from 8:45 a.m.
to 4:00 p.m. The clothes washer must be installed
and operating at time of the verification inspection.
- Customer agrees to complete a follow-up questionnaire
about the rebate program.
- In four to six weeks, after office approval,
your rebate check – in the amount of $100
for residential and/or $100 for commercial customers
– and your original purchase receipt will
be mailed to you.
- Rebate for direct Residential customer is limited to $100 per service premise account. Rebates are subject to availability of funds.
- Rebate for direct Commercial customer is $100 per washer per premise account. Rebates are subject to availability of funds.
