TIME-OF-DAY WATERING RESTRICTIONS LIFTED News Release Contact: Karol Parker, Public Affairs Officer 915-594-5692 (office), e-mail:kparker@epwu.org Date: October 3, 2008 EL PASO — The time-of-day watering restrictions in effect since April 1 have been lifted. The Water Conservation Ordinance permits outdoor irrigation at any time on designated days from Oct. 1 to March 31. Residential customers with even-numbered addresses may water their lawns on Tuesdays, Thursdays or Saturdays.  Those with odd-numbered addresses may water on Wednesdays, Fridays or Sundays. The designated watering days for parks, schools, cemeteries, golf courses and industrial sites are Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays. El Paso Water Utilities offers free indoor and outdoor water use reviews to residential and business customers who want advice on how to use water more efficiently.  Appointments are scheduled through the Water Conservation Department by calling 594-5508.
