This Halloween, El Paso area kids will be able to strut their best costumes while learning about water and water conservation at the annual TecH2O Water Festival.
“The festival will help students understand water concepts and form value systems,” said Water Conservation Education Specialist Diane Perez. “We want to instill a general environmental awareness and stewardship ethic.”
Students will learn about water resources, the water cycle, and benefits of water conservation through dozens of hands-on activities and games. Popular exhibits from previous festivals like the rolling river and the cloud machine will make a comeback, and children will leave with a deep understanding of water in the desert.
Admission is free and children 12 years old and under who wear a Halloween costume to the festival will get a prize.
