The Government Finance Officers Association presents the award, which is the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting. An impartial panel judged the report to demonstrate a “constructive spirit of full disclosure” and clearly communicate a financial story. This is the 14th consecutive award the utility has received from the association. Chief Financial Officer Marcela Navarrete received the award of financial reporting achievement. The association presents this award to the individual primarily responsible for preparing the award-winning document.
