We would appreciate your assistance in updating the following information:
On April 25 at approximately 12 p.m., a 24” water main broke on Mesa near Belvidere street. EPWU crews responded promptly and worked hard all afternoon through the evening to restore water service by 10 p.m. to about 160 customers, 70 of whom reside in an apartment complex. At this time, repairs to the main are complete.
However, the break did cause some damage to the road and we hope to have repairs done by Wednesday. Until then, two westbound lanes on Mesa at Belvidere will remain closed and one remains open.
The cause of the break is still being investigated. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused residents.
