CANUTILLO-AREA NEIGHBORHOODS TO BE AFFECTED BY WATER OUTAGE News Release Contact: Christina Montoya, Vice President-Marketing and Communication 915-594-5596 (office), e-mail: cmontoya@epwu.org Date: July 22, 2011 El Paso – Some residential and commercial customers of El Paso Water Utilities will be without water service between 10 p.m. Friday, July 22, and 4 a.m. Saturday, July 23. The outage is required while a contractor replaces the 16-inch water line which runs along Interstate 10 between Campus Park Avenue and Los Mochis Drive in Northwest El Paso and Canutillo. In all, about 500 residential and business customers in that area will be impacted. EPWU records indicate the line which is being replaced last broke on Jan. 1, 2011.
